Almost everything is starting, have you updated your race schedule?

Keep up with the calendar of the main events already rescheduled for this year

The motorsport competition in 2021 it has already started, even bringing good results to the Portuguese colors and it is almost time for the tests to start cruising speed with the most popular championships about to put themselves on the starting line for the start.

January was already a month of riding really seriously, as is the custom with Rally Dakar being the rookie of the year. Stéphane Peterhansel won in cars and Kevin Benavides on bikes. But January was also a month of victories for the Portuguese, with Filipe Albuquerque triumphing for the second time in his career in the main category of the famous 24 Hours of Daytona – continuing the best way to the historic year that was his 2020.

The end of the first month of this year has not yet passed, if not already with the start of the World Rally Championship and Sébastien Ogier to win for the eighth time in Monte Carlo. But even before it started, the WRC had already had a calendar update, in which the Arctic Rally became the second race of the championship, scheduled for the last weekend of February.

Also in Formula E, next weekend is the start of the championship that this year gains World Championship status, with António Félix da Costa defending the title of champion. And, among several calendar updates that took place after the beginning of 2021 (when we made the first release of dates), significant changes have happened that deserve a new agenda update.

One of the dates to be retained right away is the inclusion of the Portuguese GP of MotoGP in the calendar that will be covered by Miguel Oliveira in the premier category of motorcycling. The MXGP in Portugal also suffered a postponement of the date, now, here, realigned and, in this ‘national review’, the date of May 2 for the F1 GP of Portugal, which already has an agreement, will remain that only needs a signature …
