The arrival of the collaboration with Sanrio at Animal Crossing: New Horizons may be scheduled for At the end of March 2021, I asked you some questions. Here we bring you several questions for its premiere, planned through a free update on March 18 that will be followed by the launch of the amiibo cards of Sanrio in a pack of six.

The details below are based on how these Sanrio amiibo cards work on the previous installment in the series, New Leaf. Here they are:

• Can you get the Sanrio items without their respective amiibo cards?
  • It is likely that after the update, the Sanrio amiibo cards will function in a similar way to the existing poster system that we get for scanning amiibo.
  • These posters are unlocked and can then be ordered through the TeleNook special items section.
  • If the furniture that unlocks these Sanrio amiibo cards works the same, we could order as many as we want and then trade them with other players who do not have these cards.
• Can you invite and ask Sanrio’s new neighbors to stay in without the amiibo cards?
  • Rila, Marty, Etoile, Chai, Chelsea and Toby can be invited if we have the letters to miibo, but if we don’t have them it is unlikely. Currently we cannot invite neighbors who are in other people’s camp areas.
  • On the other hand, although these neighbors are “In boxes”, considering what was happening in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, you could not “adopt” Sanrio’s neighbors from another player’s city even when they were “in boxes”.
  • It is also not likely that these new neighbors will appear in searches for mysterious islands like the rest of the neighbors.

For now these details have not been officially confirmed, but everything indicates that, while the furniture can be obtained through exchange with players who do have the Sanrio amiibo cards, the neighbors they cannot be obtained unless you have these cards.
