RAWALPINDI: 2 Pakistan Army pilots welcomed martyrdom on Monday after a military aircraft, which was on a regular objective, crashed near Gujrat.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) recognized the martyrs as Significant Umer, a trainer pilot, and Lieutenant Faizan, a student pilot.

Previously on March 23, an F-16 fighter jet crashed near Shakarparian in Islamabad throughout wedding rehearsals for the Pakistan Day Parade.

Wing Leader Nauman Akram was martyred in the crash.
