U.K. Begins Nationwide Coronavirus Immunization, Largest In Nation's History

The U.K. launched its largest-ever immunization program Tuesday. Health officials began dispensing doses of the Pfizer and BioNTech coronavirus vaccine, first vaccinating healthcare workers and residents over the age of 80.

A 90-year-old woman from Coventry received the first vaccine shot as part of the United Kingdom's nationwide immunization campaign launched Tuesday.
