A couple months ago I visited ICA to pick up clothes for upcoming events. When I go into a showroom to pull, (I don’t have a stylist; my job is to show you my personal style so I do it all myself) I rarely go in with any idea of what I’m looking for. But lucky for me, ICA had so much that I loved! I’m always on the lookout for pieces that are different, so when I saw this Asilio one piece, I didn’t even have to try it on. I knew it was going to be one of my favorites!

I always feel like I’ve hit the jackpot when I put something on and it fits like it was made for me. I’m no stranger to alterations, but this one fit like a glove without the help of my tailor. (Not even the hem!) I’ve also noticed I gravitate to black and white looks a lot; I think it’s because the contrast just automatically makes it a more bold, structured style. And things like the single suspender holding the top and bottom together and the gathered sleeves with the tie detail make it so much more interesting than just black trousers and a white off-the-shoulder top.

I say this often but I think this really might be my favorite look I’ve ever worn! And if you look at the rest of Asilio’s collection you’ll see that these details are sort of their “thing”: Structured and bold, but still very sexy and feminine.

What did you think of this look?
